Es dient nicht nur der k\u00f6rperlichen Gesunderhaltung, sondern urspr\u00fcnglich auch dem h\u00f6chsten Ziel der spirituellen Selbstverwirklichung. B.K.S. Iyengar, geboren 1918, verfeinerte und systematisierte den Hatha Yoga als sein Lebenswerk. Im Laufe seiner jahrzehntelangen \u00dcbungspraxis\u00a0erforschte er jede einzelne Yogahaltung (Asanas) in Bezug auf die korrekte K\u00f6rperausrichtung und <\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_3&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.21.0&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.21.0&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; text_text_color=&#8221;#FFFFFF&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p><span>Wirkung. Aus seiner eigenen K\u00f6rpererfahrung heraus entwickelte er die sogenannten props (Hilfsmittel), wie rutschfeste Matten, Gurte, Kl\u00f6tze, Polster,R\u00fcckbeuger aus Holz und vieles mehr.\u00a0Die Props und die pr\u00e4zise Anleitung des Lehrers unterst\u00fctzen die anatomisch korrekte Ausrichtung in jedem Asana. Sie erm\u00f6glichen es den Yogasch\u00fclern auch schwierigere Asanas einzunehmen, um noch tiefer von deren Wirkung zu profitieren.
